terms & conditions
1. Reservation & Payment Policy
Booking is subject to availability. To ensure this, it is limited to receiving the deposit within 3 days of the written confirmation of the reservation. The required deposit corresponds to 30% of the total cost of accommodation. The balance must be paid in full 7 days before the arrival date.
Payments can be made either by bank transfer to the owner’s bank account at the National Bank of Greece (IBAN GR).
2. Cancellation Policy
The deposit is fully refundable in case of cancellation up to 60 days before the date of arrival (minus any bank / administration charges). For cancellations between 30 and 60 days before the arrival date, 50% of the deposit is refunded (minus any bank/handling charges).
In case of cancellation less than 30 days from the date of arrival, the deposit is non-refundable. In case of no-show or early departure, the total cost of the stay will be charged. Cancellation or change requests must be confirmed in writing.
3. Arrival & Departure
Check in: 15.00 (it is possible to check in earlier after consultation and based on availability).
Check out: 10.00 am (later check out by arrangement and subject to availability)
Free luggage storage is available upon request. It is possible to pick up from the port on request 7 days before arrival for an additional fee. Please inform us of your arrival details at least 5 days in advance.
4. Liability
Guests must use the facilities and amenities of Villa Mazourka respectfully and safely. During their stay at the Villa, children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
The property is not responsible for any accident, injury, illness, death during the stay of its guests or loss/damage to their property and belongings, howsoever caused. Likewise, the property cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss caused to a guest vehicle parked in the property’s parking lot.
Unexpected power, water and internet outages are likely to occur occasionally on the Greek islands. Please report any such problems. We will do our best to restore service or remedy the situation, but we cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience or damage caused by such situations.
The property cannot be held responsible for any variation that may exist between the furniture, decorative objects or surroundings shown in the photographs on the Villa Mazourka website and the existing condition in which they may have been changed or removed from the property since the photos were taken.
5. Security Deposit & Conduct
Villa Mazourka is not allowed to force any guest to leave the accommodation earlier than agreed, unless the guest:
a) breaches current Terms & Conditions
b) is infected with a contagious disease or a disease that causes distress to the rest of guests
c) violates proper behavioural conduct (such as disturbs the peace of neighbours, breaches local legislation, causes damage to people or property etc.)
Please note that parents/guardians are kept responsible for their children’s behaviour.
6. Complaints & Force Majeure
Please inform us immediately of any complaints or issues that arise during your stay at Villa Mazourka. We will try to fix any problem as soon as possible and to the extent that our professional capabilities and local infrastructure allow.
If, for any reason beyond our control, we are unable to offer you the Villa Mazourka accommodation you have booked, we will make every effort to find alternative accommodation of a similar size and standard. If this is not possible or not accepted by you, we will refund all your payments to Villa Mazourka in full, but we will not be liable for any further obligations or claims.
In the event of Force Majeure incidents such as fires, floods, civil disturbances, strikes, ship itinerary changes, severe weather, acts of God etc. Villa Mazourka cannot be held responsible for any delay, inconvenience or expenses caused.
7. Disputes
By completing a booking you agree to the above Terms & Conditions. In the event of a referral to court, Greek law will be used as the basis for resolving the dispute and the Greek courts will have jurisdiction.
